Let’s bake some cupcakes!!!! 


I have created a super fun summer-ween tutorial. come craft with me! I have chosen a project from the Glitterville Handmade Halloween Craft book to share with all of my Halloween loving friends. Making these adorable little cupcakes is a great way to keep the Halloween spirit going strong through the summer. It is also a great way to keep your kids busy while they are home from school.

Making 2 Part Silicone Molds

It’s time to make molds! I have been working on this set of Johanna Parker Designs inspired trick or treat buckets for a few weeks now. I have decided the best way to keep their original charm would be to make up a mold for casting.  This is such a messy process! I made the mistake of wearing my favorite pants while I applied the many layers of silicone to the exterior of these spooky cuties needless to say I ended up wearing a bit of silicone as well! It takes between 4-5 layers of this sticky goop to build up enough layers to make a solid mold, with roughly 2 hours in between coats it is assured I will be at it all day(totally worth the effort though!)
