                          This ghoul! Let me tell you, this ghoul right here, if you are ever having a bad day just hop on over to YouTube and watch one of her videos. She is the embodiment of the Halloween spirit, she is so kind, and one of the most thoughtful people I know. She is definitely the type of person I aspire to be. I am so excited to have the opportunity (even if it is in a small way) to help her on her journey to 10k on YouTube(she is sooooo close y’all!) Like literally within a couple hundred  😬 . A week in review. This week I began working on a project that I had been wanting to get started on for so long. I had been wanting to create horror movie inspired friends for months but I kept holding myself back because I had been dead set on the notion that in some way if I did it I would be betraying my folk art loving friends. It is a delicate balance and I really want to be the  bridge that closes the gap in traditional folk art and the type of work you would look for in a shop that serves the younger crowd. Not all of my Halloween folk art loving friends, but a good majority of them love folk art but also collect and display horror themed items, and I know for me personally trying to mingle the two design esthetics is always a challenge.
