This ghoul! Let me tell you, this ghoul right here, if you are ever having a bad day just hop on over to YouTube and watch one of her videos. She is the embodiment of the Halloween spirit, she is so kind, and one of the most thoughtful people I know. She is definitely the type of person I aspire to be. I am so excited to have the opportunity (even if it is in a small way) to help her on her journey to 10k on YouTube(she is sooooo close y’all!) Like literally within a couple hundred 😬. Let’s band together and show this hard working wonderful ghoul how much we really appreciate everything she does. I am going to be doing a giveaway from 4/25-4/30. I have finally finished working on my Halloween light up candy buckets! Whew that took me a while. I absolutely love the vintage look and feel of these buckets. They are also an absolute joy to have hanging around my studio.

Making 2 Part Silicone Molds

It’s time to make molds! I have been working on this set of Johanna Parker Designs inspired trick or treat buckets for a few weeks now. I have decided the best way to keep their original charm would be to make up a mold for casting.  This is such a messy process! I made the mistake of wearing my favorite pants while I applied the many layers of silicone to the exterior of these spooky cuties needless to say I ended up wearing a bit of silicone as well! It takes between 4-5 layers of this sticky goop to build up enough layers to make a solid mold, with roughly 2 hours in between coats it is assured I will be at it all day(totally worth the effort though!)
